Antiwar.com:

I have never seen or heard of this website before this class. I think it's very interesting that this website is very unknown. You never hear about antiwar supporters in traditional media which is definitely done on purpose. This website has many links to other articles and websites showing people the problems with war and certain policies. A lot of the news articles from this website are things I've never heard had happened and they are all from pretty recently as well. 

I looked at one of the articles from this website called "US Navy Says Iran Seized US-Bound Oil Tanker Near Oman" by Dave DeCamp. This article is from only a few days ago and I have heard no news reporting of this event. A US Navy ship carrying oil to the US hit a fishing boat in Iran and was seized. This was a pretty big mistake for the US and no one is talking about it. Iran says that the US was in violation of having the boat there. 

Why Do You Not Hear Antiwar Voices?

One reason you don't hear about antiwar voices in the media could be because most media are biased to a certain side. They will report more about military and war operations because the people in power think that, that's important to report on. Another reason could be that the government is censoring or suppressing antiwar voices. The government is very powerful and probably doesn't want people talking about the reasons the government shouldn't be doing what they are doing. The last reason could be that public opinion is more in favor of war than antiwar right now, so the media will be reporting what the viewers want to see.
